clubhouse and pool hours are 5am to 11pm The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May, weather permitting.

the la estancia neighborhood is the finest in kanab Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room.
there's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: squaw, bunting and k-hill, all offering wonderful views As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.

getting around:
la estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab.
here in southern utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
page, az airport is 1 hour away; st George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

cancellations terms: please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date
it's important to note that there are very strict cc&r's established in the la estancia neighborhood For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule.
rules for la estancia community:
- there is no parking on the street whatsoever! you're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage
- if you bring atv’s, they cannot be parked in the driveway and must be parked in the garage
- absolutely no parties or events are to be held in any of the houses
- tenants may not invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities
- please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community
please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it If you lose the pool key it is a $250 FEE to replace it.
for the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well as the hot tub.
we offer a free concierge service with some great recommendations! kanab is situated in the "grand circle" area and known as the "hub of the parks", centrally located among zion national park (30 miles), bryce canyon national park (77 miles), the grand canyon (north rim - 80 miles) You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
